Hayling Wheelchairs is a family run business owned by John and Judith Steward, the shop was opened in 2000 at 27 Rails Lane, Hayling Island. We supply a wide range of products available to help with mobility and independence.
Although called Hayling Wheelchairs we also provide scooters, scooter huts, walking Aids, bathing aids, perching stools, slippers, wheelchairs - manual and electric - capes, covers, grab rails and many other aids for daily living.

When thinking about purchasing a wheelchair or scooter we are happy to help you choose the best one for you. It is important to consider what you need the scooter to do for you, does it need to fit in a car, do you need a bigger model to go local shopping, all scooters have weight limits and it may be advisable to consider suspension. scooters need to be charged and access to a power point is essential, access to where the scooter is to be kept must be considered also.
Today, road-using scooters are required, by law, to be registered with the DVLA - at the shop we carry these forms and can help with completing them - at no extra cost to yourself - the tax disc received needs to be displayed on the scooter and holders are available in the shop.
No problem is too small and we are happy to answer queries or suggest possible solutions.

The Topro is small and handy for indoor and outdoor use. It is manufactured to the highest specification for comfort, maneuverability and storage.

We Hire Scooters, Wheelchairs, Walkers, Commodes, Hoists and other various products. We provide short
term and long term hire. Delivery - products are free to the local area, however there is a delivery charge for over 25 miles.
Short Term Hire products can be arranged by either completing our hire form and sending it to us or by telephoning our shop on 023 9246 5889.
For people who may have broken their legs, ankles or had an operation, we have long term hire available, with special rates, payment is required every four weeks. However, once the item is delivered the hire is for as long or short a time needed. Contact us for details.
Products are available to hire for use at home, or for holidays to, Mill Rythe, Sinah Warren, Lakeside and Canute Cottages Contact us for details.
